2023-2024 Information

All students who ride a Black Gold School Division bus must apply for busing yearly and require a bus pass. This includes EligibleIneligible and School of Choice students. To apply, please visit our Busing Applications, Payments & Fees webpage.

All applications are to be submitted prior to June 30, 2023, to enable the Transportation Department enough time to prepare bus routes and have students receive their bus pass prior to the start of school. Applications received after June 30, 2023, may result in a wait time for students/children accessing a school bus in the fall.

Online payments are available for all transportation fees through PowerSchool Parent Portal. Families can go to their PowerSchool login and apply for transportation and the appropriate applicable fees can be seen once you add busing to your chart.

Our bus contractors have faced rising costs in insurance and fuel over the last two years. In order to continue to provide our current level of service to students and their families, and to fairly compensate our contracted bus operators, transportation fees have increased for the 2023-2024 school year.
