Cosmetology 10 (3 credits) *Course fee

Students will be start with the basics of hair structure, hair care and manicuring and continue through the intermediate level with the introduction of the basics of personal and professional practices, hair and scalp care, hair styling, long hair design, skin care and manicuring.  Students will have the opportunity to both provide and receive services in these areas to learn the basics skills.

Cosmetology 20 (10 credits) *Course fee

In the intermediate level of this course, students will improve on skills previously learned and will be tested on both theory and practical aspects of these skills. Students will also be introduced to client services. Intermediate skills in hair cutting, styling, perming and coloring are developed.

Cosmetology 30 (10 credits) *Course fee

Students will develop advanced skills in all areas of cosmetology through client services. They are tested on both theory and practical work.


Cosmetology Accreditation Program

Accredited by Apprenticeship Board. Students that successfully complete 35 CTS Cosmetology credits will have earned the equivalent of a first year apprenticeship.
