École Secondaire Beaumont Composite High School

Beaumont Students

What is the Registration Process for a Beaumont Student (returning or feeder school student)?

Students who attended ESBCHS or one of the three Beaumont feeder schools in the previous school year are considered returning or Beaumont students. The designated feeder schools for ESBCHS are: Ecole Champs Vallee School, Ecole Dansereau Meadows School and Ecole J.E. Lapointe School. If your child attended Ecole Mother d’Youville School in Beaumont, they must be registered as a new student. Click here to register as a new student.

Parents of these students do not complete a new student registration form. Parents will be required to complete the Student Enrolment Verification Form through their PowerSchool Parent Portal. The returning student registration portal opens in mid-August and the form must be completed by September 30 of the current school year.

Course Selections

All course selections for students entering Grade 10, 11 or 12 will be completed online outside of school hours by parents/students on their designated days in April. Please monitor your emails for more information at that time.

Grade 9 students in our designated Beaumont feeder schools will receive information in late March about the course selection process for Grade 10. Please click on the Grade 10 link below for more information.

Students currently in Grades 10 and 11 at ESBCHS will receive information in early April regarding their course selection processes which will include important timelines. Please click on the grade level links below to access additional information.

Any inquires relating to the course selection process should be directed to esbchs-registration@blackgold.ca. This email account is monitored outside of school hours on each of the designated registration days to offer live assistance to parents and students during the online registration process. Students can book an appointment in Student Services to speak with their counsellor if they would like guidance on which courses or streams to choose, information on high school diploma criteria or post-secondary entrance requirements.

Students who wish to upgrade with a second year of Grade 12 must make their request to an administrator and, if approved, will register at a later date.
