Outdoor Education

This series of courses teaches students outdoor skills as they relate to outdoor recreational opportunities. Activities include Camping, Canoeing, Kayaking, Outdoor Cooking, Survival Skills, Mountain Biking, Cross Country Skiing, Rock Climbing, Carving, Orienteering, Team Building, Snowboarding and Downhill Skiing.  Students must plan in active physical involvement throughout the course.  Students who successfully complete all assignments may earn 3 to 5 credits in Outdoor Education 10, 3 to 6 credits in Outdoor Education 20 and 3 to 8 credits in Outdoor Education 30.

Students who enroll in Outdoor Ed must plan on active physical involvement throughout the course. Students who successfully complete all assignments and participate in both trips will earn three  CTS credits. Course fee of $100 is required for each level.
